The process of cake baking is like nurturing a toddler to turn into a beautiful/smart individual. When we start baking a cake and prepare the mixture, it is the foundation just as a cell in humans. In the mixture, we put every ingredient in the right proportion and then we keep it for baking, and the process of baking is like giving birth to that cell. That is not all, it is just the beginning, everyone requires some visual appeals as well, then comes the time to groom that freshly delivered cell or precisely, the baked cake, and this is done through the process of decoration and icing. 

Icing is an art to enhance taste and it is something that not all bakers have in them and that's what we, Whisk n Bake Institute aims at.

Courses and Offerings

They have kept the courses very simple yet eventful and most importantly fully packed with learnings. Here they try to make bakers experience every challenge and struggle that new bakers come in contact with. The expert team of professional bakers has made the courses in such a way that every course offers so much in such less time. 1. Fresh Cream Foundation Course 

 The institute offers bakers with this super interesting course named, "Fresh Cream Foundation Course" of 1 month packed with learning the art of icing and decorating the cake along with perfect cake baking. 

   As mentioned above the duration of this course is one month and the batches will run in two different time slots, which are:

A. Morning Batch:- 11 AM to 2 PM

B. Evening Batch:- 3 PM to 6 PM 

  It is an ideal course for the home bakers to gain proper knowledge to bake and professionally plate the cake and it is suitable for the bakers who are willing to start a small scale bakery business after polishing their icing and decorating techniques and also the gaining precise expertise about baking theme based cakes and learning more about blending flavors and textures. 

   After learning from this course, one can easily bake and plate eye-pleasing cakes on the plates without much effort. All the interested bakers can enroll themselves in this course at just Rs. 40,000 including GST. 

 

The Key Learnings They Offer in This Course from the very Basic to the Advanced level are:-

1. Baking of sponge, both from the scratch of egg and with premixes and eggless of Vanilla and Chocolate flavors. 

2. Preparing sugar syrup, American buttercream, and whipped cream.

4. Imparting the art of baking three-dimensional cake designs like dolls, cartoon characters, numbers, and much more.

7. Learn to use piping nozzles for border decoration and icing techniques.

8. Basic principles of paring different flavors and colors together for better visual impact.

10. Different garnishing ideas:- chocolate fans, cigars, chocolate collars, whipped cream roses, and paper print piping

11. Shake hands with airbrush technique and photo print cake.

12. That is not all, we make you an expert in scriptwriting as well which will enhance your confidence to write messages on the cakes without any fumble at your bakery. 

13. Last in this course is learning to bake three tire wedding cakes and also learning how cakes should be packed, transported along with labeling the cakes with the perfect price. 

14. That's not the end, at the end of the course we conduct a practical examination where all the enrolled students have to appear and have plated the best cake to the jury how will be judging you all and grading you according to the taste and texture you served.

2. Baking Foundation Course 

  Whisk n Bake is delighted to have this course on their list. It is a certification course of a month that runs only in one batch from 11 AM to 2 PM.  

  It can prove to be beneficial for those bakers who are interested to learn the technical and commercial issues prevailing in a bakery and strives to come up with the best possible solutions and advice. By the end of this course, learners can call themselves a " Bakery Technologist". Here, one will not only learn the fundamentals behind marketing and other commercial issues but will also go through the main process of baking and making the plate look delicious and worth spending money on. 

  In this course, they offer 48 baked recipes along with entirely new and advanced baking skills and techniques. 

    All the interested students can enroll themselves in this course for just Rs. 45,000 with GST

3. 3 Months Diploma Confectionery and Baking Course

   The professional baking classes Whisk and Bake is happily announcing the combined course of baking and confectionery which is three months long and runs in two different batches:-

A. Morning Batch from 11 AM to 2 PM

B. Evening Batch from 3 PM to 6 PM 

  This course offers a wide range of learning. It is an amalgamation of both the courses mentioned above along with a lot of new astonishing skill full tasks and learnings. After collecting hand in knowledge and experience of working under the expert bakers for 3 months and gaining precise and perfect knowledge about different baking techniques, icing and decorating ideas, one can make a shining career in the baking industry and work towards turning their passion and hobby into a profession and earning.  

    All the interested candidates who wish to learn a tip to toe about baking can register themselves in this course by paying Rs. 1, 80,00 for the whole of the course

C. Fundamentals of SugarCrafts which includes Fondant, Gumpaste, and Geode Cake 

1. They will make you learn to make fondant and gum paste. 

2. Impart the knowledge of making the perfect chocolate ganache. 

3. Here, they will also make you learn to make fondant flowers, leaves, human figures and also will make you go through the manner of placing them on a cane. 

 

D. Everyone's favorite, The Process of Chocolate Making

  Experts feel chocolate making and baking with chocolate is the ultimate treat to the soul and so they have included this in their course to make the future bakers learn and understand some key points related to chocolate:- 

 

1. The dos and don'ts about the chocolate, it's very important to have command on this. 

2. Learning the method of tempering chocolate.

3. Working with different varieties of chocolates.

Some Important Rules and Regulations to be followed in the Campus Kitchen 

 

1. It is extremely necessary to attend all the classes conducted throughout the course duration. 

2. Every student must bring and wear their lab coats or aprons while working in the kitchen. 

3. Every student is advised to bring a pen and notebook to write down the notes when required along with few napkins and a container to carry home some sweetness that you will bake

4. Work with full focus so that the provided equipment and ingredients won't get damaged and wasted respectively.

5. Every student will be provided with printed recipes for future reference. 

6. We are working from Tuesday till Sunday and the timing is from 11 AM to 6 PM

How to be a Part of Whisk n Bake Institute?

 

1. Securing a seat for yourself before the starting of the course is mandatory. 

2. Before registering yourself with them, make sure that you will attend all the sessions conducted throughout the course duration. 

3. Each baking and icing aspirant can enroll in the course by paying just Rs. 1000. 

4. A must remember point; Once the fees are paid, it is non-refundable and non-transferable

5. They accept fees through cash and cheque or online banking only. They do not accept payments via cards.
